I know the diesels are capable of really high mileages, but don't hear so much
The question makes no sense. 1.4 TSI can refer to either the EA111 or the EA211 engine family. 2.0 TSI can refer to either the the EA113 or the EA888 engine family. The Turbo charger does a good job in keeping things VERY interesting between 2000 to 5500 rpm. This is where this small engine feels the MOST ALIVE. The next good thing is that the top end is not bad too, however the redline is not too high. Location: aberdeen. I've had two friends reject cars with this engine. One was a golf and the other a polo gti. The polo had high oil consumption and problems with the dsg.
