Golf mk5 NOx Sensor. My daughter has a 2004 plate Golf 1.6 FSi with engine code BAG which has covered approx 72000 miles. Recently the MIL light has illuminated and my diagnostic scanner shows DTC P2202 Generic which corresponds to vw 18634 - NOx sensor circuit low input bank 1. Sorry for the long post in advance! :biggrin: i have a 2007 mk5 golf gt 170bhp its done 60000 miles and were having trouble with the turbo. the problem started about 8 weeks ago, we noticed when warm the turbo boost would lose pressure and the boost needle would drop to about half when fully accelerating.

But the 1.4 TSI in the mk6 was also used in near identical guise in 2007 Mk5 onwards - so it had been out for quite some time and hence maps were steadily developed. This sounds like the tensioner. I've had to do this to 2 TSI's and am 2.0 AEG engine with very similar symptoms. (One identical) As prior post stated.
