My 34-yr-old son loves the soundtrack to the movie JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR, which he heard me play on various media while he was growing up. He now is really into vinyl, so I wanted to give him an original LP recording of "JCS" for his birthday. The LP arrived promptly & was safely & securely packaged.

Recording For the recording, Lloyd Webber and Rice drew personnel from both musical theatre ( Murray Head had just left the West End production of Hair) and the British rock scene ( Ian Gillan had only recently become the singer of Deep Purple ).
